Claude…thai customs will want tax everything….they wanted tax all my old clothes and old comp. More than it was worth….just sell your stuff and buy in thailand…
If you have a work permit, the taxes are none or very low. If you are here on other visa, just forget it. Taxes is 100% and not worth it. I moved a container here so I know some way to do it. If you are married to a Thai who recently moved back, then there is a way to move everything tax free.
moved a 2x large TV’s (55″), 2x ps4’s, microwave, air fryer, cutlery, crockery, cookware, small furniture, side tables, a desk, 10k worth of synths and sound equipment. Paid under 5k Baht in tax.
Received no tax relief for having a Thai wife, even though we travelled back to Thailand together with our daughter.
Shipping was about USD1500 … (from Singapore.)
