Has anyone got the train from Bangkok to kanchanaburi
I’m looking between train and taxi. Taxi is quicker.
But train I presume you will see quite alot you wouldn’t normally see.

Yeah train you see more and you wont get ripped off by a taxi.
Yes we got the train in March and really loved it. Basic, no air con etc. take your own drinks and snacks although sellers do get on the train at different places. Train much better than a taxi. Transport at Kanchanaburi to get you wherever you want

We took the train from Bangkok to Kanchanburi back in March, was awesome. Only word of caution is to ensure the taxi drops you to the correct station as there are two with similar names..
