Highly inflated tourist pricing. Or being chased down the street to buy things. Not swindling… But it gets really, really, really tiring
many foreigners turn off their brain as the arrive and become blaze and don’t use common sense? they get drunk, have a stranger in their room who will likely steal when you leave things lying around, see it dozens of time? Insurance scams? lived here in Pattaya Thailand 16 yrs, seen it all…
I know of nobody personally in Thailand or Chiang Mai. I’ve had friends wallets lost, found, and returned with ALL the cash still there. No theft. Safer here than in America.
Just passed a bloke passed out on the street, drunk, his bum bag was unzipped so presumably money stolen

Constantly being overcharged by taxi drivers. I no longer use them. I could ask ten drivers in a row and not one would agree to use the meter.
Dealing with forefingers as they’re stupids and tried to force them to buy every thing, Also the pricing is one of the proplems
Only taxi cheats, but then again taxi drivers are crooks wherever you go
