Can someone give some insight regarding the ride to the airport on the 28th after the decree starts? We should fly at 12 o’clock but we’re currently in Pattaya and I’m not sure how would it be better to handle the situation.
I think if we leave Pattaya around 8 o’clock we have enough time to get there. What’s your opinion about that?
How to get to the airport in time without getting into trouble?

I would just leave earlier than 7pm that’s what we are doing and tbh the airports are that busy with everyone wanting to get home I would assume big ques so extra time is always a good thing. Worst thing to happen is you are in the airport for a few hours extra than needed but rather that than miss the flight or get in trouble for being outside when you shouldn’t
Midday or midnight? Midday, you’ll be absolutely fine, but i’d leave a lot earlier. People have been reporting huge queues at check-in. Midnight, there’ll most likely be buses laid on. I’m sure more news will be released today
.. If you take a taxi .. it takes about 2 hours (nearly) from Pattaya to Suvarnabhumi (at a safe speed) .. then give yourself about 2 1/2 to 3 hours at the airport, for check in, immigration etc .. calculate from there , you will do okay ..
Airport might close down I fly yesterday to Melbourne 95% of the flights was canceled already we were so lucky
It is unlikely that all transport will be shut down. Certain routes and certain transport methods will be effected. There will likely be a curfew from 7pm to 7am, but nothing is official until the PM makes the announcement tomorrow.
Airport is closing stay safe at the beach
I’d leave before 7:00. Anything can happen on Thai roads
