Tips for first time Thailand visitors please.
Should we wait and buy toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel, sunscreen, bug repellent once we arrive?
Is there anything that’s difficult to buy out there?
you can buy everything in 7-11or bigC.
Definately take suncream ☝️ its really expensive and contains whitener

Buy sunscreen and deet from home and get the rest over there
You can but from 7-11, Watson’s chain and alot of big towns have a boots .
Shaving lotion is bloody expensive
Definitely, all branded toiletries, such as Bodywash, face cream, body spray etc is very expensive. Yes take your own sunscreen.
7/11 is convenient, but like I said, branded stuff is expensive.
Mosquito spray or roll on is a must take.
Make sure you take cool clothes along, because in Phuket it is extremely hot this time of the year.

Everything you need is here, and nothing is overly expensive in fact most things are cheaper.
I bought all mine over there at either Big C or small shops and 7elevens. It was all a lot cheaper over there to the extent I left it all there when I returned
Neither to buy or bring since Shampoo,Shower Gel toiletries are part of ur hotel stay…Bring ur own repellent..Body spray and Sunscreen…If att all you still want some thing look into 7/11

but anting etc you can buy at Bic C or Thai shop very cheap more price up and Convenient go buy at 7/11
Not at all Thailand the most convenient country easily find thing in 7-ELEVEN, BIG C market.
Go to 7eleven or family Mart store….ul get every at reasonable.

Take small tissue packets for the restrooms. Not all places have decent tissue if any at all. Take lotion or sunscreen you like they sell this stuff but most of it has whitening in it. Have a super great time.
Be careful if you have to buy skin care products in Thailand (and many other countries), a lot of products have bleaching agents in them and it can be difficult to find sunscreen, lotion, etc without bleaching agents
as everyoe has said get suns screens.creams from Uk /homeland – anytthing else you can get in 7.11
