Khun (คูน, long vowel, middle tone) is the colloquial Thai name for the Golden Shower Tree. Khun (คุณ, short vowel, middle tone) is a common Thai honorific and also a title equivalent to Khunying. Khun (ขุน, short vowel, rising tone) is a former royally bestowed Thai noble title roughly equivalent to baronet.
