You will more likely meet a white bear wearing swimming wear in Pattaya waters than a shark that can scare you 😉
Seriously, you have to be very lucky to see a bamboo shark or a blacktip shark somewhere in coastal waters.
Bamboo sharks and blacktip sharks are not big to hurt a human, maximum 1,5m. and prefer to hide in the safety of coral reefs and rocky areas, hunting at night.
Whalesharks, the largest fish on the planet, are the ones that can surely scare you alot, but they make a magical appearance around the Pattaya islands Samae San only few times a year and they pose no real threats to humans.
