Purchase a sim card or does anybody know which uk provider permits free roaming in thailand?
Easiest and cheapest will be to buy a sim card at the airport / seven eleven shops, and then just recharge it if needed.
I got a true mobile sim from 7/11, it’s a tourist sim, 300 baht and it gave me 8 days unlimited data, it also included enough credit for me to buy another data package which lasted another month. Really good deal!
AIS travel sim. Take phone & passport to phone shop or AIS store.
AIS great coverage everywhere. Butt a 30 day unlimited data plan, cheap as chips Tb300 if memory serves. Make sure your phone is unlocked before you go. The staff at the store or kiosk you buy from will insert the local SIM and do the set up for you.
