The hospital care in Thailand is very good, but one thing I want to warn people is about some of the poor business practices of the Travel Insurance Companies.
I highly recommend avoiding LUMA. Their customer service reps (many which are located in Vietnam, not Thailand) will take your claims documents, sit on them for a month, request the documents again, then reject your claim. LUMA GLOBAL INSURANCE will not honor their own policies and will lie about the terms and conditions you signed up with. There is no recourse once they do so.
I paid for a policy that didn’t cover anything.

Yes I made a claim for outpatient that I didn’t even know I was covered. No prob at all
