I have a tattoo of Barong (king of spirit gods) do I believe in spirits? No. Though the story about Barong and Rangda is quite cool. You see Barong everywhere in Bali. For me, having spent a lot of time in Bali, my Barong tattoo is a reminder of good times had whilst abroad. A connection to Bali if you will. People’s reasoning for choice in tattoos is theirs only.
