Where to live a retiree?
I’m considering retiring in Thailand soon and am looking at different areas of where to live with a lot of walkability, and away from the seedier side of Pattaya. I was wondering if you could recommend areas that are worth exploring around Pattaya.

Mabprachan lake
Around Mapachan lake , Soi Siam area for sure
Mapprachan area is nice. It is near the water resovoir. Bang Saray is also nice. It is about 20 km from Pattaya, but much cleaner.
Lake maprachan 20 kilo outside town, nice walkable area
Jomtien. Najomtien. Baan saray
Chiang Rai
I’d suggest Sattahip area (a bit further from South Pattaya)
