The rules of dealing with police are quite universal for all the contries in the worls.
- Stay calm. Don’t give sharp movements or touch a police officer.
- Do not laugh, smile or talk to a police officer unless he talks to you first.
- Do not make threats, demands, raise your voice or bully a police officer.
- Be courteous and act reasonably at all times.
- Don’t make false statements.
- If you’re in a dispute with a Thai person, most likely the police officer will side with the local, even if you’re right. Just accept this.
