If you live in Thailand for less than 3 months, you are allowed to drive your vehicle under your home country’s driving license + IDP (International Driving Permit). These documents should be carried together and shown to a police officer at any time he stops your vehicle.
Every foreigner residing in Thailand for more 3 months and driving a motorbike or a car is obliged to apply for a valid Thai driving license.
The process of getting a Thai driving license will be much easier if you have a valid driving license from your home country in English or an International Driving Permit. In this case you won’t have to pass the driving test and written exam. BUT this is applicable only if you apply for a driving license of the same type as you have in your home country’s driving license.
In other words, if your home country’s driving license allows you to drive a car, you can get the same permition in your Thai driving license and so on without passing the driving test and the written exam.
The contrary situation is that you have a car driving permit but you want to get a motorbike driving license. In this case you will have to pass the driving test and the written examination.
Starting from 2019 the driving license written examination in Thailand became much more complicated than it used to be before.
Nowadays the Thai driving license exam has 5 different categories:
Thai driving license exam is divided into 2 sets of questions, each set consists of 25 questions (totally 50 questions). The test-taker must answer 45 or more questions (90%) correctly to pass the written test.
Futher you can find the Thai driving license written test with questions and answer valid from 2019 and on. This test was semi-automatically translated from Thai into English, that’s why there are some mistakes and misspellings. Please be advised not to solely rely upon this source but to check other sources also.

After going to the DLT today, they posted the following link to additional test questions, many of which aren’t included here. Just use Google Chrome to auto-translate Thai to English:

So many stupid questions that have nothing to do with safety ! Very bad English translation
😀
Do you have to reply to these questions when you renew ? or is it only the first time when you apply for license ?
Thank you !

Hello, does anyone know, for the testing/practical exam whether it is possible to rent a vehicle (motorcycle and car) from the test center? Or how can you get a vehicle there? I’m in Pai, and won’t be driving to MHS for the test.
Hi I went there the other day and asked your question. They supply a scooter for the test
I don’t know how it is there, but in Samui they told me I should rent a car by myself or ask a friend.

Thank you for your help with this website. It has been very helpful.
It’s indeed necessary to read
1. the Road traffic act http://web.krisdika.go.th/data/outsitedata/outsite21/file/Road_Traffic_Act_BE_2522_(1979).pdf
2. the Vehicle act
http://web.krisdika.go.th/data/outsitedata/outsite21/file/Vehicle_Act_BE_2522_(1979).pdf
3. Road signs in Thailand https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Road_signs_in_Thailand
Note that there are some questions about the first aid, some questions about medications etc. (the video showed was only in Thai!) and some (basic) questions about the car maintenance
Good luck
Page 19 question 45 answer C is absolutly wrong
the right answer should the brake fluid oil will reach boiling point which will cause the brakes tail which may result in a sever accident
You are joking, yes? Answer “C” is correct.
Just got my bike licence as of May 2023. This is my story for those interested. Registered online but saw my nearest offices were all queued up for ages so decided to do it in Nakhon Pathom, Kamphaeng Saen Branch. Disclaimer: I chose this branch because my company have installed MOT inspection equipment there and we still do regular service and repairs. Let’s just say they were ‘friendly’ (my engineer came with me). However, I wasn’t given any special dispensation and still had to sit through the videos. None of it was in English, no subs. I guess not many foreigners choose this branch. I was however given a book in English with all the traffic signs.
Onto the theory test… good god the English was awful! By question 9 I’m already doubting a few of my answers and question 9 is just clearly translated wrong; my Thai is reasonable so I explained to an examiner that it could easily be one or the other. Anyway, he just pointed at the correct one. In hindsight I realize the problem; the English was translated as ‘park’ when it should have been ‘stop’. By question 35 I thought I’ve blown it so rattled off the last 15 in a few minutes. To my surprise I got 47!
So, you want to know if this website helped me? Yes and no. There is also a paid app (maybe it’s the same owner of this site) with really bad translations. So just make sure to practice deciphering badly worded English because you never know.
Another poster wrote the English was good for his test, and I found videos of actual tests by a YouTuber called KruTepDriver which were well written too. It seems the translations are down to the responsibility of each branch. So, if you are in a hurry pick, your Thai is ok, and you have common sense then I would recommend a branch in the boondocks as it’s quieter.
As other posters pointed out it can be luck of the draw, the majority of the questions I got didn’t feature in the first 200 here. So don’t dwell too much, just get through as many questions as you can. The signs are constantly repeated in the 3 hours of lecture and as explained they gave me a book in English; frankly you have to be a moron not to understand signage. Also, the first 50 or so questions here were constantly repeated in the videos.
Good luck to anybody in the future!
Great Post, just did my test in Udon Thanni and found the questio s very confusing as the translation gave 2 possible answers in the translation or simply didn’t make any sense… not complaining though as it’s up to me to learn Thai, it’s their country after all !
Hi! Do you get a car from DLT or can you rent one from them for the exam? I heard you have to come with yours? but how without a driver’s license😂
It’s a crapshoot if you pass the test the first time or 3! It really ALL depends on which questions the computer spits out! Better hope they are ones with clearly defined questions and answers like Speed limits and Fines. If it is all those nonsense scenarios, good freaking luck! It’s like the test was written by a kindergarten kid! You really would think the government would have test in every language! They have the means to do it! Loads of foreigners here from every country! What’s the big deal?

in Thailand “left before right” applies.
but when?
I can’t find any rules.
Please help.
Just passed my Thai motorbike test on 2nd of February 2023.
This kind post on questions & answers will certainly help you pass the License test.
Watched 5 hours of videos & then sat 50 questions,it’s not so easy & I just failed getting 44/50.
I came back the next morning & achieved 47/50 after finding this information here.
The License centre here in Phuket had no English language study book or advice on how to revise for the test (why should they it is Thailand)
The tricky part of the practical motorbike driving test was navigating the cones for myself.
I think they have widened the elevated plank test platform as it was approx 12 inches wide & fairly easy to drive on in a straight line for 15 metres or so.
If you seem a competent rider it seems they will pass you.
I’m happy now being a legal rider & not having to worry about the very regular police stops here in Phuket.
Adrian
Tested on 1/16/23
Here’s a tip if you’re only going for a motorbike license apply for both then when taking the test ask to take the car exam first it will have some of the same questions as the next test you will take for motorbike,(if you just want a car license it works the other way around)then when you finish the test there will be an option to review the answers you got wrong, it will provide the right answers, review these answers as some of them will be on the next(motorbike )test.I got 40 out of 50 on the first test and 46 out of 50(pass)on the second which was the motorbike test. I studied the online test questions and answers and went back to next day and got 45 out of 50(pass). A lot of the questions asked Will be improper translations which makes it tricky but most of them are common sense. good luck!
thank you
Thank you. This really helped me a lot and I found this to be the most helpful and accessible support site of all for the Thai written exam.
So I did. my theory test yesterday and my driving test today and wanted to also help the community: 28.10.22
I did my test in Bangkok near Chatuchak .
The Theory Day goes from 8:30 till around 15:30.
I have to say that the Theory questions in this blog helped me a loooot so definitely read all of those a few times that you heard it . The hard part with the theory for foreigner is the fact that some questions are translated very poorly. That’s why it’s hard sometimes to understand the questions. Otherwise you can use 80% of the time logic and 20% ist luck an skill I would say . I you are unlucky you can get the worst translated question and would fail the test trying to get 45 out of 50 questions . I passed with 46 and the ones I failed was definitely understanding and translation problems. Other than that the better part is that you can do the test everyday so you don’t need an appointment and have to wait another week like in the first time. The theory on theory day is indeed a little bit boring but I would say it’s definitely also helpful because it’s similar to this blog . I already knew a lot seen in the videos such as that monks and novices doesn’t need to wear masks. Also you get a booklet with street signs which is also helpful to look through. The driving test was like 10 mins: going in a straight line without falling. Driving a parkour where there are just you and other beginner motorcycle drivers. You have to follow the signs and you are finished . Pay 105 baht for the motorcycle license and you get it directly printed after a picture.
Another thing I want to add is : of course there are a few mistakes in the blog but still 90-95% is correct. So in the theory try to remember and still think on your own with logic then the test shouldn’t be a problem .
Good luck everybody
What happen when you fail the test? You just retake it or …. ….
Yes if you fail the tests you can just retake it everyday once a day
do you need to pay for the test again the second time?
No, you paid only one time, when you pass.
Thank you so much for this website. I study it for several days and just passed my two examen for car and motorbike right now with 50/50. Without your help i would never done it.
Great job !!! Thank you.
This is a great resource. Definitely take your time studying this information. As mentioned below, “It also will be useful to read Road Traffic Act BE 2522 and Vehicle Act BE 2522.” (I don’t have the links for these but a google search will be able to help you find them)
Some questions were more of “what if” scenarios that may trip you up if you think too much about them. One of the questions asked, “If your car battery has a problem, which one do you disconnect first?,” and you had a choice of Cathode, Anode, Both at the same time or Neither (trying to go off memory). Some of us may know, you disconnect the negative terminal first but not many of us may know the name for the negative terminal (Cathode by the way) so that may trip someone up if they are not familiar with the official names.
I think the street signs and/or symbols are the easiest because you can at least put a picture with the words. There are some images that can be confusing such as it will show a couple of cars and ask which one should go first if they arrived at the same time. With those type of questions, the different acts mentioned above will prove very useful.
I did my test in Chiang Mai and saw that a QR code took you a document translated into English to help the traffic signs. Here is the link to study these beforehand.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1syxZRZemTBk1yya9RYqxjDBwhLekPcaw/view?usp=drivesdk
Take your time with the test, no need to rush through. You have an hour to complete and you get multiple tries.
Thank you so much. I read it and passed the test at once. Very helpful.
Hi, in DLT of Banglamung they told me now I cannot convert my Italian license + International because I already do this 7 years ago (2015) and after I left expire thai temporary license for more then 1 years (exactly 5 y).
Now I have the only possibility to make (and pass) the theory and driving test. I think I am on trouble!
Thx to this site. I passed yesterday with 47 ponts
questions are same?
The only piece of advice I can give is:
Do your homework and study this site, its good and without it many would fail, including myself.
At the exam Make sure you read every question slowly and clearly so that you know CLEARLY what is being asked.
Don’t jump to answer quickly, it is not a race, you will have plenty of time.
There are tricks, some might say deliberate tricks.
So Don’t jump at the first answer even if you think it is correct without reading the other answer options, which might turn out to be more applicable, subject to the question asked.
This advice really helped me get through it. Let myself rush through 1st time but then went back all the way to 1 from 50 and double-checked each answer more carefully 2nd time. Passed. But wasn’t easy, and wouldn’t have been able to do it w/o this website. Huge help. Yesterday failed twice. Studied this website last night and this morning and passed on my 3rd time. Big thanks to the maker of this site.
Thank you so much for this site! Passed theory test twice (for bike and car), both times 47/50. It also will be useful to read Road Traffic Act BE 2522 and Vehicle Act BE 2522, these documents have almost all the information you will need for exam.
Wow! this publication has been so helpful. I just got my driver’s license today after reading this piece solely. Thanks so much.
Thank you soooo very much 🥰
Did my exam today, and this website is extremely helpful, more so than the training provided by the land transport department.
In fact, at least 30 questions of 50 in exam were NOT covered in the training. It is crazy. They need to provide a handbook in Thai and English on content.
Not sure of the pass rate, but lucky I passed first time, thanks to the website and other site helping people with content – as the land transport do not care.
How the fluck do you maybe crash in to the rear of your own car?
43. While you drive on the road There is an accident in front of which is not a way to comply with the car. Coming back, knowing that you need to slow down or stop And stop the car without crashing into the back of your car
Read More at: https://move2thailand.com/driving-license-exam-in-thailand-2020/17/
It means hitting the car behind you with the rear of your car.
84. What is the penalty for anyone who drives a car without a driver’s license?
A. Imprisonment of not more than 1 month or a fine of not more than 1,000 baht or both.
B. fined not more than 1,000 baht
C. fined not more than 6 months or fined not more than 1,000 baht or both
D. Fine not exceeding 2,000 baht
I think answer is A not D right?
Its D, A is for motorbike. I also got confused but with this website its helpful.
Did you notice this is a duplicate of question 4. But in question 4 they got it right!!
that’s right
84. What is the penalty for anyone who drives a car without a driver’s license? A. Imprisonment of not more than 1 month or a fine of not more than 1,000 baht or both. B. fined not more than 1,000 baht C. fined not more than 6 months or fined not more than 1,000 baht or both D. Fine not exceeding 2,000 baht
I think answer is A not D right?
A is right — D is if you lost your license — ridiculous really. 2000 baht if you have lost your license and 1000 Baht if you do not have one does not make any sense to me.
To be exact, 2000thb fine is if your driving license has expired.
Q36. Registered cars If wanting to change the color of the car, what should be done?
A. Proceed to change color immediately
B. Notify the registrar within 15 days
c. Notify the registrar within 30 days
d. Notify the registrar within 7 days
I think the answer is D isn’t it?
I failed the exam. I think I got 43 out of 50 questions correct. I have been driving for only 56 years now. Some of the questions had road signs that were in Thai. I know some Thai but cannot read Thai. So I will try again later.
I would have liked to see some questions about what to do when a motorbike pulls out in front of you. My answer would have been to honk and then run them over. Problem solved. But I did not see this question.
I agree, run over the motorbike rider. Teach them a lesson.
I just passed the exam, thank you so much for this!
Some of the questions of course will be only in the test (Id say questions here amount to 70-80% of actual questions) but if you study this hard enough you will almost certainly pass
Hi, I do not understand one thing – questions 84-85 and Question 4, are giving the different answer to same Question
Am I missing something? Thanks. Zac
Hello! I’m going to pass exam at 8 of February 2022. It will be the same questions?
Hello no, now questions is not same a lot of new questions and the questions and answers that exist here have a different wording now, in my ticket I had 12 questions that do not exist on this site
Do you remember the quistions please write
I passed mine today after 3 tries on the written exam. My partner did the first time, it is really dumb luck what questions you get considering he’s been driving a scooter two weeks and me 20 years, ha! He also knows how to drive manual so some of that helps, if you don’t know anything about manual cars or break systems, you should learn. I only needed a motorbike test here but almost all questions pertained to cars.
There are many where two answers are correct or very ambiguous, clearly the translation needs some work. MANY answers in this guide (and indeed the literal 1979 Thai handbook are incorrectly translated, so don’t follow all these answers).
Here are some examples of what I got “wrong” but you will find nowhere in the translated Thai handbook or make sense at all. There is a question about battery, make sure you know that Cathode means negative and Anode means positive and the answer is detach Cathode first when taking out the battery (I had to convince the test watcher that this was scientific/not American English and I had no idea what the words meant but if she could please translate to which one means negative (I drew a plus and minus sign). She called in someone to confirm this was a normal question to ask). If I got that wrong I would have failed again.
One question says something like “If you’ve been on heavy medication and cannot drive to your destination what do you do?” The answers are 2 obvious NOs and the others are A: “Have friends drive you”. B: “Do not drive on motorway”. WTF, obviously both, you’d assume B would make more sense, but it is HAVE FRIENDS DRIVE YOU.
Next dumb question: “A person is following you, speeding and tailgating and flashing their high beams at you. This is an example of….” Again, some obvious no answers and then the choice between A. Not following traffic rules. B. Poor etiquette. AHAHAHAHAHAHAH which would you choose? Answer is, no joke, “Poor etiquette”
“Why do you turn taillights flashing?” Correct answer is “to alert others of dangers ahead of you” which is definitely not correct, but none of the 4 options were really correct or worded right. I think it must have intended to say “to alert others you are having trouble or danger that you pose ahead of them”
And make sure you know tanks are allowed on streets, monks don’t have to wear helmets, you can’t drive if you’ve ever had a heart attack but you can if you have one arm or seizures with clearance.
Hope this helps!
Thank you for the material! Today I scored 47/50, thanks to this preparation. I’d like to point out that in the real text the translations into English were much better and very readable. Also there were no questions regarding the various fines and which vehicles are exempt from registration (but it does not mean it can’t appear). All the questions were quite relevant.
Also the practical test was not too difficult. There were three people and the instructor told the instructions in Thai and then in English. Within 5-10 minutes it was done.
As for transferring the foreign car license, given the international license it was not necessary to make any translation and confirmation at the embassy. The whole process took less than an hour and was quite smooth.
In general, the experience at the Chiang Mai office was very good, maybe one of the best offices visited so far. Btw: there were flower decorations all around the office.
Safe ride!
We went through the whole procedure in December 2021 at the Chaktuchak (“DLT Area 5”) and it’s worth mentioning that many of the questions here had completely different wording (but still grammatically wrong and/or extremely vague or were right out NON-SENSICAL) in the current theory e-test. A handful of the questions on this site also have the WRONG answer selected, so use this copy as a something of a rough guide, rather than facts that you need to memorize.
IMO, passing the current version of the DLT test the first time requires a bit of luck (like, not getting a lot of broken questions) but it is possible – the limit is 45/50 and I passed with 46/50 the first time and 47/50 the second time.
Yes, you have to do the test ONCE for car license and once for motorcycle, if you choose to get both, although it’s a random pick from the same pool of questions.
And NO, of course you can only do ONE test per day even if you pass! 🤪
One test per day per vehicle type.So I was able to take car and motocycle on the same day. Good luck, Thailand Paul
I was able to do 2 attempts for my bike licence in a day
Hello Man.
Would youind to explain me if i can only take a test for a motorcycle, as i don’t need for the car.
So is it possible to do a test for the bike only?
Thank u
No questions on signs or stopping distance or operating a vehicle? wtf? These questions have almost nothing to do with operation a vehicle.
Hi! So happy to hear you did this a few days ago in Chiang Mai. I was hoping you could answer some questions for me. Since you had to do the road test I assume it was a new motorbike license?
What we have: USA car license, International Drivers License, residency certificate (should be in by Thursday). We are currently on the Covid visa extension but I also have the option of a medical extension in the future.
How strict were they with your paperwork and what kind of visa did you do this on? I think we might stop by tomorrow to make sure we have the documents we need….I know everything is kind of at the discretion of whatever agent you get. We already have our medical, photos, visa copies etc.
I don’t have a current motorcycle endorsement (been driving scooters 15 years but don’t have that endorsement on us) and really want to secure my Thai license. Thanks for your help, I appreciate it!
Scored 48/50 today.
Wanted to take some time and thank the creator of this page, since it helped me a lot.
It is not the only resource that I studied from, ( I also searched in thai websites – with the help of google translator – and then translated the content) but the main one I would say.
The test is not hard but it requires studying since many answers are not obvious – you just need to know them.
Practice is a piece of cake, plus with me they were not strict at all.
I went into the office at 10, was out at 11.30 with my new car licence and my motorbike licence renewed, all that for 500 THB.
Hello. Please could you pass me any of the thai web sites? there are many translation in here, that does not make any sense to me. Example: the words “majors” or “doctorate”…… cannot understand…..
Example:
Q 50. Answer says curves start on the right, however in the sign shown, I see curve start on the left
Q 61. Answer…….”master” …… which master?
Q 62. same
Q 63. Master? Doctorate?
Q 65. again the word “master”?
There are few others. Those are just as some.
I fail exam last week, for 3 questions (42/50). One of the questions failed was related at the battery “anode” and “cathode”. All my life I heard “positive” and “negative”. Plus my native language is not English…… making it still worse. Thank you if you could help
Anode = Positive terminal
Cathode = Negative terminal
Thank you very much for using our website and congratulations on getting your driver’s license!
Thank you for the answers!
This website is of great help, I’ve just passed my test succesfully
Yesterday passed the driving test in Pattaya, perfect!
Congrats!
The best Thai driving test on internet. Thank you, I passed!
Very useful website. It helped me a lot to obtain my driver license.
Just took the exam today in BKK Passed, it’s easy If….
1. You devote time to seriously studying the material, not just thumbing through it.
2. You have common sense, take your time, and read all of the questions and answers.
Hello again.
The question of Traffic and Warning Law Q48.’s correct answer is wrong.
That mean is ”High occupancy vehicles only” isn’t it?
source:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Road_signs_in_Thailand#Priority_Regulating_Signs
Hello again.
The question of Traffic and Warning Law Q37.’s correct answer B(to the left)???
Are you sure?
Because the arrow looks like it’s pointing to the right.
And I can not to find the correct answer on it…
Hello again,
The question of Vehicle Law Q51.’s correct answer B, isn’t it?
Because car registration and vehicle registration is same, and C is just copy one but B is the original one.
Again, I’m confused about the question of Vehicle Law Q45.
First, what do you mean by ”hire passengers” ??
Second, if it means ”can be used to bring a
customer”, then all answers are right I think, aren’t they??
But why A. is the correct answer?
Hi, everyone.
I have a question, what is ”Minithai Jai Thai” on the Vehicle Law Q32 answer D.
Due Covid, I could not return to renew my 5year driver’s license. Just returned to Thailand via Phuket Sandbox. Can I just get it renewed or do I need to go for a test or can I convert my International driver’s license into a Thai license? Wondering if anyone knows the answer?
Yet to take my test, my local test center is shut because of Covid..
Has anybody done and passed from home?
How many times can you take the test if you fail?
Does everyone use the site http://www.dlt-elearning.com?
Where do I watch the video?
Many thanks
Dear Paul,
Just so you know, the DLT office in my area in Bangkok asked me to do just that, training on their website ( I’m surprised it worked but it doesn’t give you the option to print out the result, which isn’t good..) However, it only asked me 3 questions while I was watching the1 hour video on line, it suddenly stops and asks you questions which luckily I’ve answered correctly but we should be able to print it out though..I took a screen shot of my result with my phone since I did the test on my home pc. I hope that works..
Nevertheless, I’ve got a queue number at the beginners of February, my gut is telling me perhaps I would have to take another test like this one when I’m there ?! This is going to be another surprise..
I’ve gone through this driving test on this website, I imagine it may be the in person test, I wonder that too..It’s not straight forward, tricky as they come !
Regards, Gen.
That’s helpful, thanks Elena. Where can I find this information, it seems there are many first aid type questions on the test . Is there a reference we can use? I want to revise before the test but none of this information was in the 4 hour + video they showed us beforhand.
3. NAUSEA drugs have a dizzing side effect, yes or no? Correct Yes, use with caution
4. Which is following illustrates the importance of adjusting the headrest to a proper position? Correct- Helps alleviate neck injures in the case of accident
1.Moving the injured person using a blanket is not suitable. However, in which situation is it safe to move an injured person with the blanket? Correct answer – NOT SUITABLE FOR BACK INJURY
2.Drivers SHOUD NOT take antihistamines before driving Correct – YES
Unfortunately test also has random questions about driving with hearing impairments, effects of nausea drugs and when to carry accident victims . One correct answer wasn’t one of the original options on screen When asked, DLT lady told me to go on Google to practice. Laughable and frustrating.
is this applicable in 2021? because i will be taking one soon and is there any specific information or change in bike and car? or is the test the same?
These questions and answers use Google translate and do not make any sense whatsoever. I just took the driving test and it’s much easier to understand. How is anyone supposed to study from this information when it’s not even correct! You should redo your website immediately
Hi.. which source did you study from?
Are these reliable answers for the license? I took the test the y Shape traffic and the z shape rule answers options are off the hook..
I think this is only for Bangkok tests right? This is much harder than the past test. I got my motorcycle license first, the I did not pass (44/50 yikes.) then I took it again got 47/50, then passed. Gonna be taking exam for cars, wish me luck guys.
21 is correct? sure?
Red and white lines curb markings: Cannot stop or park here
Black and white line on the curb marking: Can stop and park
Yellow and white lines curb markings: Can stop to unload but cannot park here
Thank you for useful website.
I need motorcycle licence, but more car mechanical and maintenance question had.
English is my 2nd language, so I didn’t name of a diseases.
Almost I failed about these things.Do you know website about these things?
What diseases of name I have to remember?
Q 9 and Q 36: same question two different answer. What is the correct answer?
How many days to change the car color must notify the registrar?
7 days or 15 days?
7 days is the correct answer
Studying these poorly translated and answered questions WILL make you fail. Just concentrate at the training day and you will do much better than studying this crap!
Looking at all the questions and answers – what a MESS!
There were questions about first aid. Why do you need 3 helpers to move a patient? (the answer is – he or she is unconscious). How should you help a patient? (the answer is – do not move a passenger). Something like that.
I love this post after 5 times exam failed and found out this post and made me passed 46/50
Questions are not exactly the same of course, but the questions here really prepare you.
I read here 2 times, and read the book they give you during the training, and I got my test on the first time, with 46/50
It’s really about logic, not difficult!
I took the exam 4 times and some of the questions are really hard and different from this. I need to study more because questions are random. Please pray for me to pass the exam. Thanks!
I’ve taken the test several times recently and I can definitely say some of the answers here are incorrect. I have yet to find somewhere that has an accurate guide to the exam answers.
Vielen Dank an den Ersteller der kpl. Fragen mit dazugehörigen Antworten. Dank der Fragen gestern den Test bestanden. Die Fragen sind zwar nicht exakt gleich, aber für die Vorbereitung sehr hilfreich!
very helpfull !
I got 47/50 yesterday
thank you so much!
q4 and q84 same question different answer????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Yeah, madness. So many answers are wrong here!
I just took the test. I cant say this is not helpful. but many wrong answers here so i had to take the test twice. And among all the questions here, around 60% is in the real test and others 40% questions are the questions I’ve never seen.
Is this question bank useful?

Many of the questions listed here were in the test, but I didn’t pass. Scored 44 both times. Questions I didn’t answer correctly were stupid and not listed anywhere.
Same, i fail two time, tin ton farang, tomorrow i will try again , and again till i get my motorbike licence haha.
Definitely worth going through above. I did the test and scored 45/50 which is enough. Studied 1 hour before because I was not aware of the test, but many of the questions above were actually there. Most on road safety And signs, and not many on engine and battery etc.
Is this question bank useful?
I’m soon gonna take my exam, I heard they changed the questions. Is it true? Is this source reliable?
Yes, these materials helped me a lot! Some questions were exactly the same. But there were some of them not listed here
Are these the questions for the car test? I’m looking for the updated question for the motorcycle test only.
I applied for a motorcycle licence, and there were a lot of questions about car maintenance
Did my exam recently and this website is very useful. Some questions here are wrong/doesn’t make sense, but it gives a general idea of what the questions will look like. The exam was harder than I expected, but most of the question can be answered using common sense. Gud luck~~
Hi, I’m not agree with you….or maybe questions/answers are not same and depend in wich Deparment of Land and Transportation you pass your test….
AGREE! The real test is NOT the same. In fact, the real test (which is apparently new) has mistakes in it! They ask you “can a person without an ARM be permitted to drive” but it should be “finger” not “arm”, and the answer is that yes you can drive with only one arm – crazy!
The answer is – Yes, s/he can drive if proves the ability to do so
Some other questions that are in the test are not here, but require common sense.
Scenarios are all pretty easy to, Correct answer is always the longest one Dont be shy to ask what lines they are referring too, the lady will probably just give you the answer.
Passed the test today, Used this website and scored 50/50
Questions are worded like shit, horrible English but this website will help you pass.
Just study it, Test isn’t easy but is do-able if you put effort in.
Hey Matt,
Could you send me the link of where you did the test online?
Thanks so much
Congrats. Did you also pass the driving test? How was it?
Yea, he is Richard Petty didnt you know!!
18/1 Q: driving while it rains, what should the driver do?
A: Emergency lighting on the entire road
18/29
Q: when driving while it rains what should not do?
A: Turn on emergency lights all the way..
Which one is correct? 🙂
This new test is a joke, many really silly questions which makes no sense at all and even in the computer test there are mistakes.
Hard to pass imo
yo honestly just study this site, i took it today and got 43/50 two times in a row so and i only studied the night before so you should be fine.
Did you pass yet mate?
thanks man, i’ve gotta do it tomorrow, so i’ll study all night long lol.
I did the test on July 7, some questions are about “vehicule law” “vehicule maintenance”, “safe driving”….manies of these questions are not in your list….and rh3re are manies mistakes in the the list on internet!! Very hard and confuse
Hey guys,
Quick one, my wife and I need to get our motorbike (scooter) license and we were told to enroll at a school that charges 3000TBH per person.
Is this necessary or is there another way?
Thanks so much
damn bro how many points did you score out of 50? did you pass? any suggestions how to prepare for the test?
yo honestly just study this site, i took it today and got 43/50 two times in a row so and i only studied the night before so you should be fine.
Number 2 of traffic and warning signs , white lines on the road are not ” allow to turn ” but lines to slow down…
I passed the real test yesterday, it was just a nightmare, of course I failed, some questions are coming from the moon….answers uncomprehensibles. I ’m very sad because I do my best to comply with the rules of my guest Country…but Maybe I’m too stupid to drive in Thaïland
You have to study. Goog luck. Many test here. Not easy at all. Easy to make five mistakes. But plenty of time
A lot of mistakes with signs road!! Manies imprecisions…not good
I already have my Thai driving license for a car but I want to get a driving license for a motorcycle now. Does anyone know whether I need to take a written test again for my motorcycle license or am I exempt from the written test since I already have my car license. Thanks
Yes you need written test
Several of the questions and answers make no sense what so ever.
Are they indeed worded as they will be at the test, or are these the questions from the thai test that has just been run trough Google Translat?
The latter would explain a lot.
Thanks for posting, though.
good
Are the questions on this website very similar to the questions in the real test?
Can anyone confirm?
I need to take the test soon. I am looking for the best example test to practice on.
Thanks
well there are at least hundreds of questions and the computer will randomly choose 50 for each test for each person so the questions wont be exactly the same but 50 of it will be on the test:)
Great help!
Thanx to the list, I could finish the E-exam successfully.
what do you mean by “E-exam”?
did you take the test online?
I thought you must take the test in person at the office.
E-exam = electronic examination, meaning that you have to go and take a test at a PC.
Well done!
Why are so many questions have the same question, but different answers!
14 & 15
22 thru 26
27 thru 30
All have the same exact question, but different answers!
Why?
How can I know which one is correct for each question?
Yes. There are slight differences. Myself I need to translate English to French to get the right meaning. These are vicious questions which is anon sens for a road test about the security and the rules and the signs.
Question not same , answer not same
Be careful , studying better guy’s
I also fail two times already, today I will try again haha. Some questions – answers are different. But I think you can find here some of them, it is better than nothing, but it could be better as well :). Anyway thanks to the webmaster for the effort 🙂
I think that this law on the registration is not useful to know. That can make you fail the test easy with only 5 mistakes. Really bullshit. I try to get a motorcycle license but these questions are not related to motorbike.
Did you find a better reliable source then?
did you find a better place to study than here?
Thank you, for this posting!
Helps alot!
Today i passed with 46/50.
Congrats! Take care on the roads!
Dear admin,
Thanks for this site. It helped me a lot to pass car and motorcycle license exams yesterday.
However, is there a way to send you warning sign screenshots which might deserve some improvements?
Hello, sorry for the late reply. You are warmly welcomed to send everything to improve this test to move2thailand.com (at) gmail.com
Thank you very much
